ENERGY ARCHITECTURE

Designed to Supplement Stored Battery Energy

SolarFinn is designed around an integrated energy approach. Solar collection and proprietary energy technology are intended to supplement stored battery capacity under appropriate operating conditions.

Proprietary internal architecture, component locations and implementation details are reserved for qualified commercial partners under appropriate confidentiality.
ENGINEERING FRAMEWORK

The Energy Math Behind the Concept

SolarFinn can be evaluated using established electrical-energy and hydrodynamic relationships. Final performance is determined through engineering validation and prototype testing.

P = V × I
Electrical power equals voltage multiplied by current.
Wh = V × Ah
Battery energy capacity expressed in watt-hours.
Runtime ≈ Usable Wh ÷ Net Watts
A simplified framework for estimating operating time.
Pnet = Pmotor − Psupplemental
Supplemental energy can reduce the net demand placed on stored battery capacity.
HYDRODYNAMIC DESIGN

Designed With Water Resistance in Mind

Fd = ½ρCdAv²
Hydrodynamic drag depends on water density, drag coefficient, projected area and velocity.
Pdrag = Fd × v
The power associated with drag increases as speed and resistance increase.
Drag, efficiency, supplemental-energy contribution and overall system performance require prototype testing and engineering validation. No specific performance value is represented here as a tested result.
PRODUCT VISION

One Integrated Marine Platform

SolarFinn is being developed as a unified trolling-motor platform where energy collection, propulsion and angler-focused technology work together as one system.
